My name is Alex, and I’m a Grand Rapids native with a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan. Currently, I work for a local bank as an operations leader while also serving as a co-chair on both our engagement and WBRG volunteer committees.

Prior to my time at the bank I was lucky enough to spend a number of years in the nonprofit world including a year in the Ecuadorian Amazon and three years across East Africa working in the areas of conservation, education, and healthcare.

My partner and I live in the Creston neighborhood with our 12-year-old rescue pit-bull Olive. When I’m not working I enjoy cooking, playing golf, and trying to have the nicest lawn on the block.
