My name is Janeil Foy, also known as Alien J, representing 61Syx Teknique. I’m the owner of Teknique Street Dance Academy and originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I began breaking in 2009 during my freshman year of high school, after transitioning from boxing, where I first learned my rhythm. My background in art—both drawing and painting, in digital and traditional forms—greatly influences my creativity and movement compositions. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve enjoyed teaching and especially love witnessing the growth of my students.
