Art has been woven into Jodie’s life since early childhood, shaping the way she sees and experiences the world. Long before discovering Arts in Motion, Jodie spent over a decade living in Key West, Florida, where she worked as a chef. The vibrant colors, coastal light, and lively atmosphere of island life continue to influence her creative spirit.
Jodie is best known for her realistic acrylic cityscapes. In addition to painting, she creates fused and stained glass pieces, embracing the interplay of light and texture. She loves exploring all mediums and often dabbles in a wide range of artistic forms, continually expanding her craft.
After moving back to Michigan to recover from an auto accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury, Jodie discovered Arts in Motion—a place that reignited her passion not only for creating but also for sharing art with others. She is deeply committed to making art accessible to everyone and enjoys teaching and encouraging others to explore their own creativity.
Jodie also has the business JDilnoDesign, where she produces original artwork and custom commission pieces. Outside the studio, she can often be found on adventure walks with her devoted service dog, Wilson, who is her constant companion.
