Lisa Glover was born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan and loves adventures both in and out of town. She studied Therapeutic Recreation at Grand Valley State University and holds a certificate in Disability Studies from CUNY.

Lisa has worked in the Disability community in West Michigan since 2011. Before coming to Arts in Motion, she worked at David’s House Ministries in a direct care role for 6 years and as the Life Enrichment Coordinator for an additional 6 years. Lisa helped create a nonprofit called LIFT, which focuses on social events and outings for a group of adults with disabilities. Lisa owns a floral business called All In Bloom, which has the mission to employ individuals with disabilities.

Lisa is passionate about inclusion and celebrating each individual’s diversity and uniqueness. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks with her husband, kids, and dog. Spending time at the lake with friends and family provides her great joy. Lisa is so excited to put her energy into the studio while maintaining the broad community of support.
