Sarah Beth (SB) is a rooted-in-rhythm dancer, teacher, community organizer, and performer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. SB didn’t grow up dancing, but would spend hours going down Youtube rabbit holes watching Lindy Hop and solo vernacular jazz videos, convinced she’d never learn to move like that. When she stumbled upon a Lindy Hop community in 2015, she dove head-first into vernacular jazz and has never looked back. She co-founded Rapid Rhythms in 2017, the vernacular jazz community in Grand Rapids, where she teaches classes regularly and coaches the Rapid Rhythms Performance Team.

Sarah Beth believes that movement is for everybody and every body. It’s her goal to help students lean into what makes their dancing unique to them.
