Announcing the Professionals of Grand Rapids and Arts in Motion 2023 Winter Soiree!

The Professionals of Grand Rapids and Arts in Motion announce their partnership for a fundraising Soiree on January 25th, 2023 at Frederick Meijer Gardens.

Grand Rapids, MI – The Professionals of Grand Rapids (PGR) will host their first annual Winter Soiree, a fundraiser to support the local non-profit organization Arts in Motion (AIM).

The Arts in Motion Studio has the Mission to enrich the community and the lives of individuals with disabilities through the arts. They do this by offering year-round programming, adaptive arts and other opportunities for performance and exhibits. AIM believes that creativity is inherent in us all and that the language of the arts is something that we can all speak together. Their students and community are able to meet and create together which in the end makes us all richer.

PGR is a group of local professionals who work to create beneficial connections throughout their communities. The board currently consists of 9 members who plan networking events throughout the year, which bring together around 200 professionals. In addition to networking, PGR has been working on a way to give back to the community. After some volunteer work, PGR decided to put their event planning skills to work to help raise funds for a local organization.

The event will be held at the incredible venue of Frederik Meijer Gardens on January 25th, 2023 from 6:30pm to 9pm. Arts in Motion will be putting on a dance performance, the artists will display their art which will be available for purchase, there will be door prizes and a silent auction, as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

All proceeds from art sales, the silent auction, and donations will go to Arts in Motion. All ticket sales will take care of event expenses with the remainder going to PGR for future events and fundraisers. We hope you will join us for a night of fun to give back and get involved with your local artists and dancers!
