New Staff Spotlight – Lauralee Rea

Lauralee Rea

We are excited to have Lauralee join our team! Assisting in art classes, helping repaint our studio space, teaching yoga – Lauralee is always quick to help wherever needed! She has a knack for working 1:1 with students to help them reach their fullest potential.

After retiring from a 15 year career in social work, Lauralee is excited to work with students of AIM to encourage creativity and independence through arts and movement. Lauralee has also been teaching yoga for nearly 10 years. Lauralee loves to teach and inspire others to utilize yoga as a means to improve physical and mental health. Lauralee also loves animals and had volunteered at the Wildlife Rehab center until they temporarily closed in December of 2022. Lauralee is also an occasional “chicken sitter” for three lovely hens, Red, Zebra and Lulu.

We are so grateful she came to us as a volunteer and has now joined our team of staff!
